MM Logistics Service LLC currently seeking a unique and dynamic individual to join its team as Account Executive This is a fast paced, highly visible position and requires an individual with exceptional customer service, relationship management and business development/sales closing skills . This candidate will also need to be detail oriented, have the capability to multi-task and to supervise with a superior sense of urgency.
This is a great opportunity for someone with industry experience to join an office as part of the MM Logistics Service TEam. The ideal candidate is someone with a background in transportation brokerage, who is looking to expand their existing customer portfolio. As a broker, you will be responsible for developing relationships with customers and arranging freight transportation to meet their needs. The most successful freight brokers are comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Must have STRONG outbound phone call salesmanship skills. 50-100 calls per day pacing.

Duties and Responsibilities: (not limited to)

Identify & develop new customers by cold calling various business’ and freight companies
Build logistics infrastructure by qualifying and starting new relationships with transportation companies to haul various products across the country
Manage, maintain and build good relations with company transportation companies including liquid and dry bulk trucking
Provide consistent, ongoing and as needed after hours support for all logistical related scenarios
Plan and negotiate freight rates with rail and trucking companies to increase company profits
Gather all paperwork and associated logistical information on all transactions from trucking companies and associated manufacturing plants for transaction reconciliation. Eg. Weight tickets, Bill of Ladings, seal numbers etc..
